Job summary

Cynet Health in Oregon is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Scientist for a 13-week assignment. The role requires testing of blood, body fluids, and tissue with emphasis on rapid turnaround in a busy laboratory environment.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of lab experience, hold an MLT/MLS credential, and possess ASCP/AMT or equivalent certifications. Proficiency with Epic, antibody IDs, emergency blood banking and Ortho Vitros 5600 is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of laboratory testing experience.
• Licensed as Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Certifications ASCP/AMT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze samples (blood, body fluids, tissue) to aid diagnosis.
• Support 24/7 lab operations with holiday coverage.
• Maintain quality controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

Description:The laboratory teams have responsibilities for testing samples that may include blood, body fluids, and tissue to aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions that may need medical attention.Lab tests are processed for inpatients and emergency room patients twenty-four hours a day.In addition, testing is performed on outpatient and clinic specimens.All labs are licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and accredited by the College of American Pathologists.Applicants with the required experience will be given priority consideration.Holiday coverage will be required.
