Job summary

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Ccertified Pathologist to join a new hospital-based pathology practice in Northwest Arkansas. This is a unique opportunity to help establish a growing regional program within a physician-led organization dedicated to diagnostic excellence.

The candidate will be a strong general surgical pathologist, collaborating with clinicians, lab staff, and hospital leadership. Laboratory Medical Director responsibilities are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• AP/CP Board Certification required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Arkansas.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
• Prior leadership or laboratory medical directorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services in anatomic and clinical pathology.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership to support operational excellence.
• Serve as a clinical resource for physicians, hospital staff, and laboratory personnel.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, committee work, and other medical staff activities as appropriate.
• Provide laboratory medical directorship services, if applicable.
