The role emphasizes safety, precision, and continuous improvement in patient testing and diagnostics. Relocation or sign-on may be available for qualified candidates.

Formación

• California State License as a CLS or Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist.
• ASCP Certification as CLS/MT or SBB (Specialist in Blood Bank).
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

As the Laboratory Manageryou will:

• Supervise multiple supervisors and a team of approximately 30-50
• Review and interpret test results with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide consultation and technical guidance to partner hospitals and laboratory teams
• Ensure full compliance with state, local, and federal regulatory standards
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• California State License as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist
• ASCP Certification as a CLS/MT or SBB (Specialist in Blood Bank)
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
• Extensive blood banking experience in a hospital or reference laboratory setting
• Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Ideally located in California

• Highly competitive hourly rate (Starting at $150k and increasing based on experience to $200k)
