Job summary

Perham Health is seeking a Lab Manager to lead daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic testing for high-quality patient care. The role directs staff, drives quality and compliance, and collaborates with providers and leadership to enhance services.

The ideal candidate holds a MLS/MT/CLS credential, a bachelor’s degree in medical lab science, and proven leadership experience in a clinical lab setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or Medical Technology (MT) from an accredited program.
• Current MLS/MT/CLS certification through ASCP or equivalent.
• Progressive clinical laboratory leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of daily laboratory operations and staff.
• Recruit, train, and develop laboratory team members and promote engagement.
• Establish and monitor quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and lab processes.
