Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager in California to oversee multiple labs and lead a 30–50 person team committed to excellence in patient testing and diagnostics.

You will review test results, provide consultation to partner hospitals, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and promote safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement across all sites. Generous compensation and relocation support are available.

Qualifications

• California State License as a CLS or Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist required.
• ASCP Certification as CLS/MT or SBB preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Extensive blood banking experience in a hospital or reference laboratory.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple supervisors and a team of 30–50.
• Review and interpret test results with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide consultation and technical guidance to partner hospitals and laboratory teams.
• Ensure full compliance with state, local, and federal regulatory standards.
• Uphold and promote a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement.

Skills

Supervisory or leadership experience

Blood banking experience
