Saint Alphonsus Health System seeks a Lab Manager, ASCP MT CERTIFIED, to lead diverse laboratory services across Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion, Microbiology, and Histology. You will oversee quality, costs, and staffing, collaborating with the regional director and medical center leadership.
Requires MT/MLS certification, a bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science, and at least five years in hospital labs with supervisory experience.

Develops, implements, and manages laboratory services for the medical center, its patients, its staff, and agency clients, while collaborating with regional laboratory director for all relevant issues. Areas of oversight may include Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Service, Microbiology, Histology/Cytology, as well as 24/7 accountability for onsite laboratory issues. Works with laboratory medical directors on a daily basis. Responsible for laboratory quality and quantity of work, procedures, methods, costs, and staff throughout the medical center.
