Nampa Medical Center is seeking a Lab Manager, ASCP MT certified, to develop, implement, and manage laboratory services across Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Service, Microbiology, and Histology/Cytology. You will oversee 24/7 onsite lab operations, collaborating with the regional director to ensure quality, cost control, and staffing excellence.
The role requires a Medical Technologist/MLS program graduate with AMT or ASCP certification and at least five years in a hospital lab, including
Develops, implements, and manages laboratory services for the medical center, its patients, its staff, and agency clients, while collaborating with regional laboratory director for all relevant issues. Areas of oversight may include Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Service, Microbiology, Histology/Cytology, as well as 24/7 accountability for onsite laboratory issues. Works with laboratory medical directors on a daily basis. Responsible for laboratory quality and quantity of work, procedures, methods, costs, and staff throughout the medical center.
