Job summary

Kids for the Future in New York is seeking a Laboratory IT Analyst to operate and monitor laboratory computer systems and production functions, supporting laboratory reporting tools and instruments.

The role performs routine hardware and software maintenance, backups, and data migrations, with emphasis on patient reporting and eMR systems, while upgrading and maintaining hardware and software across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related science, or IT degree
• BSMT or ASCP certification is preferred
• Experience with clinical systems in healthcare settings and HL7 knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors Laboratory Computer operations and production functions
• Monitors and supports Laboratory reporting functions and equipment
• Performs routine hardware and software maintenance and backups
• Implements data backup, recovery, and historization tasks
• Supports patient reporting with emphasis on electronic medical records (eMR) and related upgrades
