Job summary

You will assist with sample prep, receipt, cleaning, inventory control, documentation, and general testing support while gaining hands-on experience and reinforcing GMP practices. The role emphasizes attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to GLP, cGMP, aseptic technique, and contamination

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing Associate/Bachelor in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field preferred.
• Previous lab, academic lab, pharmacy, healthcare, manufacturing, or quality experience preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of laboratory safety, measurements, and aseptic technique preferred.
• Ability to learn and follow SOPs, cGMP requirements, and good documentation practices.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry; experience with LIMS/ELN platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receipt, labeling, organization, and preparation of laboratory samples under supervision.
• Prepare media, reagents, dilutions, and supplies for routine lab activities according to procedures.
• Support routine testing activities by setting up materials, cleaning work areas, and documenting observations.
• Assist with environmental monitoring, sample staging, and plate handling when trained.
• Observe and learn compendial methods, aseptic practices, and contamination control expectations.
• Perform basic lab housekeeping, stocking, and waste disposal per SOPs.
