Description:The position requires a Histology Technician with experience in excision specimens, formalin, and frozen section techniques.Candidates should be skilled in performing incisional biopsies and shave biopsies.Tasks include cutting tissue sections, preparing slides for staining, and using various reagents types and components.Familiarity with special stains and histology cassettes is essential.The candidate must demonstrate precision in microtomy of frozen sections and the preparation of frozen sections mounted on glass slides.Experience in emergency medical records (EMR) is preferred.The position involves working with skin cancer and MOHs procedures.Must be flexible to float within the facility as required.Working during 2 out of 3 major holidays is mandatory.New travelers are welcome to apply.Aqueous laboratory experience is a plus.
