Job summary

Central Business Solutions, Inc. seeks a Laboratory Director in Memphis, TN to oversee the laboratory's daily operations, budgets, staff, and compliance with CLIA requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science Specialty. Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor
• Experience: 5 years of progressive management experience in an acute care facility.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered per ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent; licensure as required by state law

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the annual department operating and capital budgets.
• Directs staff and daily operations of department
• Has the ability to hire, fire and discipline
• Responsible for Tenet Healthcare Laboratory technical development, implementation and integration within areas of technical expertise, to include instrument acquisition, logistic support and laboratory information systems integration

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science
