Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA invites applications for a Laboratory Coordinator for Physics, Instructor. This role teaches five sections of Introductory Physics labs each semester and coordinates lab operations, inventory, and safety.

POSITION SUMMARY:The Lecturer-Laboratory Coordinator for Physics is responsible for Introductory Physics laboratory instruction and coordination. As a lecturer, they will teach five sections of the laboratory (Introductory and Physics for Life Sciences) each semester. The coordination responsibilities include managing work-study students who assist in preparing labs, oversight and inventory and maintenance of equipment and documentation for the laboratories.
QUALIFICATIONS:An M.S. in Physics or a related field and prior teaching experience in an introductory physics laboratory is required. Experience with classroom teaching of Introductory Physics is preferred. Excellent organizational skills as well as superior interpersonal skills (verbal and written), and an ability and desire to work closely with all constituencies at Moravian including students, faculty and staff. Computer literacy that includes significant experience with Google Docs, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office is essential.
