Job Title: Lab Calibration Technician

A company specializing in calibration, inspection, and repair is hiring a Lab Calibration Technician working onsite at their Chicago facility.

Key Job Functions

  • Will be able to perform calibration
  • Basic repair of precision test equipment
  • Remaining focused on utilizing mechanical dimensional measuring instruments

To be successful in this role, the following experience is preferred:

  • Pressure, torque, thermodynamics, weight/force, dimensional measurements including ULMs, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, and other distance/height gages.
  • Previous work involving optical comparators and CMMs is also valuable.
  • If you have electrical or electronic calibration experience, please also consider this position.
  • Practical experience in evaluating tolerance gages, with the added ability to research and adapt varying modalities.
  • Being familiar with ISO 17025 and gauge management software is a plus.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in a calibration role are essential.
