You will operate sterilization equipment, sanitize cages, and perform routine maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in research animal care, cage wash, production/maintenance, or animal husbandry.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in an active environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate autoclaves, mechanical washers, and sterilization equipment safely.
• Clean and disinfect cages, water bottles, and research areas daily.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Monitor logbooks and biological indicators to verify sanitization efficacy.
• Manage and stock supplies like feed and bedding to support research operations.
