Job summary

A premier Global Innovation Center in Thompson’s Station, TN, is seeking a Laboratory Associate. In this role, you will conduct laboratory experiments, assist scientists in analyses, and maintain a state-of-the-art facility. Candidates should have technical education in Microbiology, Biology, or Chemistry and hands-on knowledge of laboratory procedures. You will work within a state-of-the-art, Gold LEED-certified campus designed specifically for scientific discovery, where your daily work ensures the safety and quality of products used by millions of families and their beloved animal companions.

What You’ll Do:
  • Plan and conduct laboratory experiments to verify the physical and biological specifications of various substances and materials.
  • Assisting senior scientists in a high-tech lab environment by collecting samples and performing detailed biological or chemical analyses.
  • Record precise observations and prepare comprehensive reports that include conclude findings and offer actionable recommendations for the R&D team.
  • Maintain the integrity of our world-class facility by performing routine maintenance and safety checks on advanced laboratory equipment to ensure it remains in top working order.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Vocational or technical education in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Hands-on knowledge of routine laboratory procedures, aseptic techniques, and tool management obtained through work or academic experience.
  • Previous experience in an R&D or quality testing environment "preferred"

  • Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 4:30pm CST
