Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a PRN Phlebotomy Technician. Primary duties include drawing blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research, with patient education on the procedure and assistance in recovery from adverse reactions.

Shift is day, hours 7:00a–6:00p with varied 8-hour shifts and weekend rotation. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or related program, and six months of phlebotomy experience; RN/LPN

• Completion of a Phlebotomy training program.
• Completion of medical assistant program.
• Completion of an internship/training program that included venipuncture, skin puncture, patient preparation and post collection transportation/processing.
• Currently/actively enrolled in an RN or LPN program.
• Six (6) months of Phlebotomy experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proof of one of the following:
• Completion of a Phlebotomy training program
• Completion of medical assistant program
• Completion of an internship/training program that included venipuncture, skin puncture, patient preparation and post collection transportation/processing
• Currently/actively enrolled in an RN or LPN program
• Six (6) months of Phlebotomy experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• One (1) year of patient care experience working in the healthcare field
