Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Telephone/messaging experience is required.
• Computer experience is required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Washington State DOH Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist license is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and distribute all lab reports; maintain accurate records.
• Answer customer service calls for the office and Laboratory.
• Assist with filing, specimen accessioning, and specimen entering.
• Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages.
• Assist/direct patients in collecting other specimens (urine, stool, etc.).
• Process specimens.
