Job summary

Haxtun Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for a full-time, day shift. You will perform routine lab tasks, assist with instrument maintenance and quality controls, and handle collection/distribution of patient specimens in a rural community setting.

The role starts with a pay range of $19.98/hr to $25.97/hr, depending on experience, and includes full-time status with non-exempt classification. December 21, 2026 is the application deadline.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification required.
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience in a medical lab environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Family and Medical Leave Insurance Program (FAMLI): Haxtun Health participates in the CO FAMLI program, which is a social insurance program that provides up to 12 weeks of paid leave for qualifying life events.
• Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
