Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist in laboratory operations by maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Store chemicals, reagents, and supplies properly, maintaining adequate stock.
• Clean and decontaminate equipment and glassware using appropriate solvents and methods.
• Perform quality control checks as required.
• Support testing procedures under supervision.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, perform preventive maintenance.
• Use Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) effectively.
• Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory, rotate supplies, and discard expired materials.
• Complete assigned tasks and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Perform related duties as needed.

Your Profile

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Entry-level position requiring the ability to follow instructions and operate a motor vehicle safely. Basic knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System and laboratory safety procedures.

Skills: Analytical skills, physical dexterity, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Work Environment

Work is conducted in a temperature-controlled laboratory with exposure to chemicals and fumes. Protective gear is required when working with media. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and extended standing. Occasional vehicle use for sample collection.
