About the Position:
Reproductive Fertility Center is committed to providing our patients with quality care and is looking for exceptional candidates to join our team. We are looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Assistant. This position will provide support to the Laboratory Team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintain and abide to all RFC policies and procedures, and objectives.
- Maintains appropriate Laboratory safety procedures and practices.
- Maintains complete and accurate records.
- Assist in compiling data, inputting data/results.
- Maintains appropriate Laboratory safety procedures and practices.
- Standard lab documentation per CLIA, CAP, FDA regulations.
- Establishes and maintains positive communications with co-workers, supervisor, physicians and patients to promote a spirit of teamwork and cooperation in providing quality healthcare and to ensure achievement of the departmental goals.
- Performs procedures per established laboratory standards.
- Assists with work assignments, projects, and other tasks delegated by supervisor.
- Clean and maintain lab work area, equipment, instruments according to regulations.
- Attending general laboratory meetings.

- Ability to work independently yet be an integral part of an overall team environment.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

- Must be able to work under general supervision and stressful situations.
- Flexible, yet organized, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to work in collaboration with colleagues of all level, managers and physicians.
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work, recognizing that many confidential documents and conversations will need to be relayed.
- Demonstrate dignity and respect to all team members and visitors.
- Professional and mature demeanor with presentable appearance.
- Final candidate subject to background check
Experience:
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant biological science
