Candidates must have an AA degree and be prepared for weekend and holiday rotations, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strict adherence to PPE and biosafety protocols to support AAALAC accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily laboratory animal care including health monitoring and husbandry.
• Maintain cleanliness of cages, rooms, and equipment per SOPs.
• Report animal welfare concerns and assist with inventory and stocking.
• Ensure compliance with AVMA guidelines and IACUC AAALAC accreditation requirements.
• Document activities accurately and maintain records.
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors.
