Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a dedicated Laboratory Animal Care Technician to perform daily care tasks, monitor animal health, and maintain clean, compliant facilities. The role requires adherence to SOPs, strong record-keeping, and the ability to work independently with routine weekend/holiday rotations.

You will assist with animal welfare reporting, PPE use, and documentation supporting AAALAC accreditation activities. Prior lab animal or agricultural experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• AA degree is required.
• Lab animal or agricultural experience desired.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays on a rotating basis.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily animal care and health monitoring.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of animal rooms and equipment.
• Assist with IACUC inspections and AAALAC accreditation tasks.
• Conduct euthanasia per AVMA guidelines and complete related documentation.
• Observe and report welfare concerns; ensure safe operation of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory as required.
