Job summary

Qualifications

• Animal Care Technician levels I–III require varying related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides clean caging, bedding, food, and water to animals.
• Sanitizes animal cages and equipment; operates washroom machinery.
• Cleans animal facility floors and surfaces; removes trash and wastes.
• Reports animal health issues and environmental deviations to supervisory staff.
• Completes facility records documenting husbandry, environment, and inventory.
• Maintains workstation supply levels.
