Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Tinley Park, IL seeks an Analyst to join our analytical team. The role emphasizes applying GMP/GLP practices, preparing samples, weighing, and operating standard instrumentation with safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a BS/BA in chemistry, 1–2 years of lab experience, and strong English communication. Expect Sundays to Thursdays, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with competitive hourly pay and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory exposure or experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods.
• Aliquots and weighs samples.
• Washes glassware.
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Analyst to join our team at the Tinley Park, IL site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Responsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area
• Ability to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
• Aliquots and weighs samples
• Washes glassware
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Requirements

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory exposure or experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

The ideal candidate would possess experience with:

• Preparation of samples using standard techniques
• Performing chemical analysis using standard techniques
• Calculating data
• Recording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to the supervisor
• Reading, writing and speaking skills
• Problem solving skills
• Team participation and meeting management skills
• Time management and organization skills

Additional Information

Position will be Sunday- Thursday, 8 AM- 4:30 PM

Pay Range: Starting at $18.00/hr- $20.0 based on experience.
