Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to foster constructive labor relations, interpret and facilitate collective bargaining agreements, and support leaders with represented employees. The role location includes Medford, Grants Pass or Roseburg, Oregon.

The Specialist will advise operations, conduct workplace investigations, and lead union committees while ensuring compliance with laws and contracts. Travel within the region is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Labor Relations or HR with represented employees.
• Experience presenting and conducting training sessions.
• Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meets with management to develop collaborative labor strategies.
• Manage interpretation of CBAs, grievances, and union information requests.
• Counsel employees and management on labor relations issues and performance management.
• Assist with employee performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Lead workplace investigations and joint company/union committees.
• Ensure compliance with legal and contractual labor requirements and conduct trainings.
