Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a Labor Relations Specialist to foster constructive labor relations, interpret and facilitate CBAs, and support leaders with represented employees. This onsite role is located in Medford, Grants Pass, or Roseburg, Oregon, with travel as needed.

The position emphasizes investigations, union collaboration, and cross-functional partnering with HR and Legal to maintain compliant, constructive labor relations. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource management, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum five years in Labor Relations or related field with represented employees.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
• Experience presenting and conducting trainings.
• Knowledge of research, analysis and consulting techniques, laws and regs.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meets with management in the field to develop a collaborative labor strategy.
• End-to-end management of interpretation of the CBA, grievances and union information requests.
• Advise employees and management on Labor Relations issues.
• Assist with performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Lead workplace investigations as needed.
• Head joint company/union committees to enhance collaboration.
• Liaise with union leaders to foster a collaborative relationship.
• Conduct research, studies, investigations and analyses.
• Develop and administer training for client groups.
• Participate in labor contract negotiations and arbitration.
• Review policies to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
• Lead initiatives aligning with Labor Relations strategy.
