Job summary

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree (JD preferred) and at least two years in HR or labor relations. The position emphasizes accuracy, discretion, and collaboration within a fast-paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology, business, labor relations, or related field.
• Two years of HR and/or labor relations experience preferred.
• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, analysis and evaluation of facts and conflicting evidence.
• Read, analyze and interpret MOUs, laws, policies and procedures.
• Reason logically and advocate positions through oral or written arguments.
• Participate in contract negotiations, administration, grievance handling and arbitration prep.
• Multitask and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
• Represent the Labor Relations Division in communications with labor organizations and departments.
