Job summary

The California School Employees Association's San Diego Field Office seeks a Labor Relations Representative to recruit, train and mobilize members for contract negotiations and advocacy in San Diego, CA.

A bachelor's degree and experience in organizing, negotiations or dispute resolution, plus excellent communications, are preferred. Weekend/evening work and occasional overnight travel are required; a California driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• A strong desire to recruit and mobilize volunteers around important issues.
• Work experience relevant to organizing and recruiting new members.
• Experience with negotiations, advocacy or dispute resolution is a strong plus.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a subject that still excites you.

Responsibilities
