Labor & Employment Partner - Wage & Hour Litigation

Join a top-ranked law firm in Newport Beach, California, specializing in labor and employment litigation, specifically focusing on wage & hour disputes. This prestigious firm, recognized amongst the Best Law Firms of 2024, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Partner Attorney to manage complex legal cases independently and contribute significantly to the firm’s future. This role includes handling all aspects of wage-and-hour litigation without the need for a portable book of business, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced attorneys looking to advance their careers in a stable and collaborative environment.

Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex labor and employment litigation matters, concentrating on wage & hour disputes.
  • Manage cases comprehensively from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.
  • Advise clients on compliance and ways to mitigate risks in labor and employment practices.
  • Develop innovative legal strategies and solutions, working closely with clients to meet their legal needs.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of attorneys to ensure the delivery of top-tier legal services.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active California Bar Admission in good standing.
  • 9+ years of extensive experience in wage & hour litigation, including managing individual, class, and collective actions.
  • Strong litigation, case management, legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in labor and employment law with a focus on wage & hour disputes.
  • Experience in a partner or senior-level role within a reputable law firm.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
