O'Hagan Meyer in Orange County seeks a full-time Paralegal with a Paralegal Certificate to support labor and employment defense litigation, including Class/PAGA actions and complex matters.

The role involves discovery, document management, subpoenas, and case coordination with attorneys across motions, depositions, and trials, requiring sharp organization and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in labor and employment litigation.
• Strong understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Excel and MS Office (Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in the discovery process including drafting interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and other written discovery.
• Request, analyze, and summarize client documents, records, and reports; prepare chronologies and timelines.
• Prepare and serve subpoenas for business records and depositions.
• Investigate claims and collect facts, documents, and evidence; interview witnesses and prepare statements.
• Assist with motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials; organize document productions and analyze key documents.
• Compile data and calculations related to Class and PAGA damage claims; conduct legal research for motions, hearings, and trials.
