Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP in Seattle is seeking a Paralegal to support Labor and Employment practice groups. You will assist with discovery, document management, and trial preparation, coordinating with attorneys to organize exhibits and witness materials.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years paralegal experience in a fast-paced law firm, familiarity with Relativity and other e-discovery tools, and strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• > 2–5 years paralegal experience in a fast-paced law firm, litigation experience required; labor and employment preferred.
• Excellent organizational, investigative, and communication skills; ability to prioritize deadlines.
• Experience with discovery, drafting notices, pleadings, motions, and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with document review and e-discovery databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of discovery, including document organization, Bates-stamping, redaction, and indexing.
• Conduct factual research and maintain internal case databases.
• Prepare witness and matter materials for case preparation; organize interview memos and digests.
• Assist with trial preparation and logistics, including exhibits and set-up.
