Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience practicing labor-and-employment law.
- Admission to practice in Kentucky or willingness to sit for the Kentucky bar exam.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws including the Kentucky Civil Rights Act.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate employment-related contracts.
- Advise business owners on personnel issues throughout the employment lifespan.
- Defend claims in state and federal courts.
- Assist in HR due-diligence for M&A transactions.
