The ideal candidate will bring prior management-side litigation experience, provide counsel to clients, and coordinate with governmental agencies and opposing counsel while drafting and arguing motions and handling

Qualifications

• Prior employment litigation experience is required, preferably management-side, covering single plaintiff employment claims as well as PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters.
• Employment counseling or in-house employment law experience is preferred.
• The role involves extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel.
• Responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.
• Lewis Brisbois' Labor & Employment Practice represents clients in all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training across numerous jurisdictions nationwide.
• Candidates with substantive litigation experience in any arena, combined with a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings; drafting and arguing motions.
• Taking and defending depositions; coordinating with clients, agencies, and opposing counsel.
• Participating in all phases of employment litigation, counseling, and training across jurisdictions.
