Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on employment issues, such as workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, and risk management.
• Represent the organization in mediations, arbitrations, and court trials.
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide accurate and timely advice.
• Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure they are legally sound.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop defense strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws to ensure compliance.
• Provide training to management and HR on labor and employment law matters.
• Assist in managing litigation activities, including budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers—including private businesses and public agencies—on a range of employment issues, such as workplace policies, employee relations, wage and hour compliance, and risk management.
• Represent the organization in all legal proceedings, including mediations, arbitrations, and court trials.
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide accurate and timely advice to the organization.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure they are legally sound and in the best interest of the organization.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop defense strategies.
• Stay abreast of changes in labor and employment laws and regulations to ensure the organization's compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to management and HR personnel on labor and employment law matters.
• Assist in managing the organization's litigation activities, including budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
