Job summary

gpac in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join the team. You will counsel clients and litigate California employment matters, including wage and hour, class actions, discrimination, and wrongful termination.

You will also advise on employment compliance, workplace policies, administrative matters, and pre-litigation disputes, while researching, drafting pleadings, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel. California Bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Experience counseling clients and litigating California employment matters.
• Knowledge of wage/hour, FMLA, ADA, and leave laws.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on a variety of California labor and employment matters.
• Litigate wage and hour, class action, discrimination, and wrongful termination cases.
• Handle administrative charges and employment-related disputes.

The ideal candidate has experience counseling clients and litigating California employment matters, including wage and hour, class action, employment discrimination, and wrongful termination cases. The attorney will also advise clients on employment compliance, workplace policies, administrative matters, and pre-litigation disputes.
