The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of substantive labor and employment experience, a CA Bar in good standing, and strong research/writing skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience
• Significant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including state and federal courts
• Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating within team-based environments
• Comfortable with AI-driven and emerging technologies to boost efficiency and client service
• Prior large or sophisticated law firm experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation matters
• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings
• Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentation
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs
