Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Los Angeles office in a hybrid role. You will handle wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters for a diverse client base, with significant responsibility and client interaction.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, California bar in good standing, 4–7 years of employment law experience, and strong research and writing skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
• 4-7 years of substantive labor and employment law experience.
• Significant experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, and class action matters, including matters in state and federal courts.
• Strong background advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Arbitration, mediation, or trial experience is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments.
• Comfortable with and open to using AI-driven and emerging technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively to boost efficiency, improve client service, and enhance legal work output

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in wage and hour, PAGA, and class action litigation matters
• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters, from inception through resolution
• Advise clients on compliance with evolving California and federal employment laws
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation filings
• Participate in discovery, including depositions, document review, and preparation of discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and settlement documentation
• Represent clients in disputes involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategic, practical solutions tailored to client needs
