Confidential Employer in Manchester, NH, is seeking an associate to advise employers on labor and employment law, regulatory compliance, and employee relations. This on-site role offers exposure to litigation and counseling with mentorship and opportunities for growth.

Candidates should have a JD and active NH Bar admission, with a preference for labor/employment experience on the employer side. A collaborative team environment and long-term partnership potential are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active New Hampshire Bar admission.
• Experience or a strong foundation in labor and employment law, with employer-side representation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise employers on labor and employment law, workplace policies, regulatory compliance, and employee relations.
• Represent clients in employment litigation involving discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and related claims.
• Handle administrative proceedings, employment-related investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Assist clients with collective bargaining agreements, labor negotiations, and union grievances.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop practical legal strategies that protect clients and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Build lasting client relationships while gaining increasing responsibility and independence.

Note: Active New Hampshire Bar admission is required. We welcome attorneys at different career stages and value candidates seeking a stable, long-term opportunity.
