Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Cambridge Hospital is hiring a Labor and Delivery Technician to support the L&D and OR teams. The role focuses on maintaining readiness to scrub for cesarean sections and other procedures, upholding aseptic technique, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for efficient workflow.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), CST certification, and American Heart Association BLS, with at least two years of surgical technologist

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and CST certification.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current surgical technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness to scrub for surgical procedures in L&D.
• Scrub for cesarean sections and other L&D surgeries.
• Maintain aseptic technique and prepare operating rooms for turnover.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available and organized.
• Assist team to ensure safe patient care and smooth flow.
