Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; NYS LPN licensure preferred.
• Minimum one-year hospital experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an orderly surgical field for quick handoffs.
• Assist in tissue retraction, suture cutting, and wound care.
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon as needed.
• Assist in preparation and cleaning of instruments for sterilization.
• Restock operating room supplies and arrange equipment for procedures.
