Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a part-time Surgical Technician in the Labor and Delivery department for night shifts at the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. The role is onsite with no remote option, and compensation ranges from $27.61 to $41.41 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Surgical Tech registration, 6 months experience or completion of an accredited program, and BLS certification with active status.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
• 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
