Job summary

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent, possess a certification as a surgical technologist, and have a BLS certification. The position requires full-time nights with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, or successful completion of an accredited education program.
• Licenses: BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification is required upon hire.
• Experience with surgical technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN circulator with preparing the operating room.
• Select and inspect surgical supplies and equipment.
• Create and maintain a sterile field during the surgical procedure.
• Ensure patient safety by checking equipment.
• Perform instrument counts with the RN circulator.
