Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) in the Dallas, TX area to support laboring mothers with obstetric teams. The role covers assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and family education across day and night shifts.

Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, BLS and ACLS, 1+ year L&D experience preferred, and strong teamwork with physicians and nurses. Proficiency with EHR systems and standard L&D equipment is expected.

Qualifications

ADN or higher from an accredited program.
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or related field preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team.
Proficiency in EHR systems and L&D medical equipment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric team.
Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates; intervene as needed.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed (epidurals, IV fluids).
Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families during labor.
Document changes and outcomes in line with guidelines.
