Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 1+ years of labor and delivery, obstetrics, or related field preferred
• ADN or higher from an accredited program
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and standard L&D equipment

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for laboring mothers with obstetric teams
• Monitor contractions, fetal heart rates, and vitals; intervene as needed
• Administer medications and epidurals per orders
• Provide emotional and patient-family education during labor
• Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines
