Job summary

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide nursing care through the delivery process, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification. An ASN is required, a BSN is strongly preferred, with at least 2 years of L&D experience; national certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS provider cards required.
• NRP provider card required.
• Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for women before, during and after delivery of the baby based on HMNMH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
