Job summary

Redeemer Health in Meadowbrook, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across hospital settings and to advocate for patients and families. This role includes supervision of care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in staff development within the hospital environment.

The RN will perform duties under Professional Nursing Law, participate in education programs, and support the mission and values while delivering compassionate, quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• PA RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• BSN required or to be completed within 3 years of hire
• Specialty certifications preferred (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP)
• IV skills required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS in specialty areas within 6 months
• NRP and PALS certifications to be obtained within specified timeframes

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care and supervise others delivering care.
• Communicate with multidisciplinary team about changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Act as patient/customer advocate and HRHS representative to meet patient/family needs.
• Assist in development of new staff nurses and future nursing profession.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

BSN completed, or attained within 3 years of hire

NRP (NICU, LDR, MIU, Nursery) certification

ACLS in specialty areas (L&D, ED, ICU, PACU, ACU, CVC) within 6 months

PALS (ED, PACU) within 6 months

Fetal monitor certification preferred (within 1–2 years)

Stroke education & NIH certification for Telemetry RNs (8 hours annually)
