Qualifications

ADN or higher from an accredited program.
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
1+ years of labor and delivery or related experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork with physicians, nurses, and staff.
Proficiency with electronic health records and L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric team.
Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates; intervene as needed.
Administer medications including epidurals and IV fluids as prescribed.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines.
