Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking a skilled RN for Labor and Delivery on a part-time night schedule. The team handles high-quality obstetric care with 9 labor rooms, OB ORs, and recovery space, serving a patient population with around 75 deliveries monthly.

Requirements include completing an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Illinois, and BLS certification; BSN is strongly preferred and L&D experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Previous Labor & Delivery experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Deliver care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
