Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an experienced registered nurse for Labor & Delivery to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care and educate patients and families. You will support transitions of care within the Mayo Nursing Care Model and collaborate across the care continuum to meet patient needs.

Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold a MN RN license and BLS, and will work 12-hour night shifts with holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Previous Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum experience required.
• Graduate of a registered nursing program.
• All entry-level RN hires must provide evidence of BSN within five years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care and education.
• Support transitions of care and professional nursing practice across settings.
• Lead with Mayo Nursing Care Model and participate in quality improvement and committees.
