Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse with obstetric expertise to provide comprehensive maternity care. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for laboring patients, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to clinical pathways and safety standards.

The RN will manage labor/delivery procedures, monitor fetal status, administer medications, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups.
• Competency in Microsoft Windows as part of MyMichigan Health technology requirements.
• RN licensed with required baseline certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for maternity patients.
• Provide skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician and accepted standards of nursing practice.
• Coordinate care and monitor fetal status and labor progress per clinical protocols.
